- Student Discovery and Classroom Vist - To partner well with your family, we take time to understand your student’s strengths, needs, and personality. After your application is submitted, we will schedule a required shadow day for your student to experience LCS classes and meet teachers and future classmates. Our staff will observe classroom readiness and review student records to determine fit, confirm grade placement, or identify whether formal testing or Mosaic services may be needed. For summer applicants, a new student orientation day will be provided in place of the shadow day.
- Review and Decision - Our admissions team will review the application, school records, discovery visit notes, any required testing, and current grade capacity to determine our ability to partner with your family. Parents will receive an admission decision by email within 10 business days of completing Step 2. Accepted families will receive instructions for completing the online enrollment process. All new students are admitted on a probationary basis for the first 16 weeks (approximately one semester).
